I can't leave

To bad yesterday my hubby call the Lawyer, we ask some information or some advise on how can we leave or travel outside the country since I have an expired green card, he said I can travel outside but I can not get back here in the US, because one of the requirements is that I have to be here in the US 6 months before my interview hohoho, I am so sad I can not go home for fiesta, Mama is preparing everything there already because they thought we are coming back home this May... Well no choice I have to wait this green card....too bad.
